Untitled Document I’ve been known to call it like I see it. I talk way too much about my Maltese. I adore handwritten letters. I watch horror movies and listen to music that makes my grandmother proud. I fantasize about winter cottages. I hate that dream where I’m running from something and I’m in slow motion. I believe in God. I eat lots of kale. I run, spin, lift weights, and like to climb things. Oh, and I LOVE my country.

Top 5 Things Learned at CPAC

on February 13th, 2012

I spent last Friday and Saturday in DC at CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference. It was a blast. I spent quite a bit of time at the AMAC booth, did some fun radio and online spots, listened to a few fabulous speeches, introduced a screening of The Undefeated, and got to meet many wonderful [...]

Sarah Palin rocks Iowa: “The status quo is no longer an option”

on September 3rd, 2011

Sarah Palin hit the stage in Indianola, Iowa this afternoon to keynote the Tea Party of America’s “Restoring America” rally. And she certainly pulled no punches. Palin took on President Obama’s failed policies and proclivity toward crony capitalism, stood firm in her support for tea party principles and rekindled the 2008 RNC speech she gave [...]

My impressions from the Iowa premiere of ‘The Undefeated’

on July 1st, 2011

On Tuesday I attended the premiere of Stephen Bannon’s “The Undefeated” in Pella, Iowa. I had provided introductory comments before a prior screening of the film in New York City, and had seen a rough cut a few weeks before that. The final product is outstanding. And my experience in Iowa left me with several [...]

Q & A with Jedediah: June 2011 Edition

on June 24th, 2011

What do you think will be the most important issues for 2012 GOP candidates to tackle? – Alan K. Bringing down the unemployment rate and advocating pro-growth economic policies will be a top priority. Putting America on a real path toward energy independence is critical. Our debt is horrifying. As revealed by The Foundry this [...]

Palin’s Record Takes Center Stage in ‘The Undefeated’

on June 5th, 2011

Many politicians don’t practice what they preach. They make campaign promises they rarely keep. And they love to talk ethics, transparency, and bipartisanship — until they are sworn into office, that is. Stephen K. Bannon’s documentary on Sarah Palin, “The Undefeated,” reveals a former city council member, mayor, governor, and vice-presidential candidate who has never [...]

Sarah Palin Rocks Madison

on April 17th, 2011

She was feisty. She was bold. And she was gutsy. At a Tea Party rally in Madison, Wis., on Saturday, Sarah Palin pulled no punches. The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential candidate credited the Tea Party with winning “an electoral victory of historic proportions last November.” She praised Scott Walker’s efforts toward fiscal discipline. [...]

My Statement on President Obama’s 4/13 Address

on April 14th, 2011

Yes, folks, I watched President Obama’s speech yesterday. Of course, I first cued up Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies.” I also entertained Emma with a creative interpretive dance, but I digress. I tweeted the speech live. Here is a sample of my comments during and shortly after the presidential address: President Obama’s class warfare rhetoric is [...]

Sarah Palin Makes a Splash on Long Island

on February 21st, 2011

She was relaxed, but spunky.  She was real.  She was armed with stats.  She was unapologetic about her convictions.  She was tough on President Obama’s agenda.  She was fed up with the status quo.  She was “sick and tired of the games that are being played in Washington, D.C., because we’re talking about our money, [...]

Obama’s 2011 SOTU: The Bigger Picture

on January 27th, 2011

I had a blast watching the State of the Union address, but that’s only because I spent most of it dancing around my apartment to the tune of “Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.” The speech was no different from nearly every other oratorical endeavor by our Campaigner-in-Chief. It was a bundle of [...]

Sarah Palin: On the Money in Anaheim

on October 19th, 2010

Sarah Palin’s speech on Saturday at the Republican National Committee’s get-out-the-vote rally in Anaheim, Calif., was a prime example of what Palin does best: slam the Obama Administration’s lies and toxic policies with down-to-earth humor, optimism, and a no-nonsense confidence that drives the Left wild. Palin boldly honored President Reagan’s approach: “What this great country [...]
