Untitled Document I’ve been known to call it like I see it. I talk way too much about my Maltese. I adore handwritten letters. I watch horror movies and listen to music that makes my grandmother proud. I fantasize about winter cottages. I hate that dream where I’m running from something and I’m in slow motion. I believe in God. I eat lots of kale. I run, spin, lift weights, and like to climb things. Oh, and I LOVE my country.

Palin Video Sets Record Straight

on March 2nd, 2012

SarahPAC recently released a video titled “Game Change We Can Believe In,” featuring real footage from the 2008 election season that challenges the premise of the soon-to-be-released HBO film “Game Change.” SarahPAC highlights the then-glowing commentary of McCain staffers Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt with respect to Palin’s poll-boosting power, gubernatorial approval ratings, focus, character, [...]

Defeating Obama with Principled Conservatism

on October 26th, 2011

We have been told that the GOP primary is a two-man race. We have been told that a political outsider could never win. And we have been told that only a moderate could seize enough votes to defeat Obama in 2012. That all adds up to what I call a bunch of nonsense. So let’s [...]

The Truth Behind the Rhetoric

on November 9th, 2010

The question that hit my email inbox repeatedly after outstanding GOP wins on the state and federal levels last Tuesday was, “Will President Obama be receptive to GOP proposals now that the voters have spoken?” One might assume that someone whose agenda was just rejected in bold print across the country would take a step [...]

A New Generation of Conservatives

on October 5th, 2010

Barack Obama captivated America’s 18-29 year-olds in 2008. According to the Pew Research Center, he seized 66% of the youth vote as compared to McCain’s 31%. He targeted their idealism and hunger for dynamic leadership with catchy slogans like “hope,” “change,” and “yes we can.” And it certainly worked. Kids proudly sported “Obama Is My [...]

Sarah Palin: ‘Political Force, Threat, and Danger’

on September 21st, 2010

I read a hilarious column about Sarah Palin in The Huffington Post on Sunday. The timing was ideal, as I hadn’t had a really good fit of laughter since reading Michael Gross’s Vanity Fair Palin piece. Or since listening to Vice President Joe Biden talk about how Iraq “could be one of the great achievements [...]

Mr. Obama, Your Arrogance is Unappealing

on September 10th, 2010

Dear President Obama, First off, let’s get something out of the way. I don’t talk about you “like a dog.” Maybe like a far-left ideologue. Or an elitist. Or a redistributionist-in-chief. But certainly not a dog. Speaking of dogs, meet my Emma. Quite the patriot, I know. And that book in the photo with her—Liberty [...]

Leftist Mama Grizzlies Attack Palin

on August 20th, 2010

EMILY’s List, a self-proclaimed “community of progressive Americans dedicated to electing pro-choice Democratic women to every level of office,” has launched its latest scheme against Sarah Palin’s “Mama Grizzlies” outreach. If you haven’t checked out the video, you must. It’s downright hysterical. And not just because of the bear costumes and growling. Some of the [...]

Journolist’s Anti-Palin Crusade of 2008

on July 23rd, 2010

As The Daily Caller’s coverage of the now-defunct liberal listserv Journolist’s 2008 Obamamania campaign grew more intriguing each day this week, a slew of emails hit my inbox asking variations of this: “So, when do you think the P-bomb’s going to drop?” Of course, they were referring to the fact that there was no way [...]

Q & A with Jedediah: Palin, Racism, and the Midterm Elections

on July 16th, 2010

There’s been a lot of talk about how Palin should replace Steele as Chair of the RNC. What’s your opinion on her assuming that role now or in the future? – Andrew; New York There certainly has been a lot of talk about that. Jim Hoft at BigGovernment.com even linked over to a “Draft Sarah [...]

America’s Unpresidential President

on June 11th, 2010

He’s just so darn presidential. You better know who I’m talking about . . . because if you don’t, I know whose ass to kick. In a recent interview with NBC’s “Today” show, President Obama said this: “I don’t sit around talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talk to these folks [...]
