I watch horror movies and listen to music that makes my grandmother proud. I fantasize about winter cottages. I hate that dream where I’m running from something and I’m in slow motion. January 8 marked a terrible tragedy in Tucson, Arizona. Twenty-two-year-old Jared Loughner, whose incoherent, rambling YouTube clips indicate serious psychological problems, opened fire at a “Congress on Your Corner” event, killing six and injuring fourteen.
