Untitled Document I’ve been known to call it like I see it. I talk way too much about my Maltese. I adore handwritten letters. I watch horror movies and listen to music that makes my grandmother proud. I fantasize about winter cottages. I hate that dream where I’m running from something and I’m in slow motion. I believe in God. I eat lots of kale. I run, spin, lift weights, and like to climb things. Oh, and I LOVE my country.

Mark Levin’s ‘Ameritopia’ Reminds Us What’s Worth Fighting For

on January 16th, 2012

Many of us often use the phrase. “It’s time to get this country back on track.” That’s most definitely true. However, in order to be fully committed to that task, it is essential that we understand the depth of what we’re rallying against and what the manifestation of the antithesis of Americanism really looks like. [...]

Book Review: Sarah Palin’s “America by Heart”

on November 23rd, 2010

When I pick up a book, the thing I want most is to feel that the author has invited me on a journey, one where I can see, hear, and almost touch the world the writer has awakened. Sarah Palin’s America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag does just that. The writer’s voice [...]

Michelle Malkin’s Culture of Corruption: Truth Be Told

on September 18th, 2009

Riveting, edifying, and judicious are just a few of the words I’d employ to describe Michelle Malkin’s latest, Culture of Corruption.  In one of the most well investigated pieces I’ve examined to date, Malkin adeptly juxtaposes Barack Obama’s hope and change rhetoric to his repeated pampering of lobbyists, tax cheats, unscrupulous corporate lawyers, and fraudulent [...]

Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny: Power to the People

on March 24th, 2009

“Of course, history shows that man will starve and freeze if he relies on the government for his sustenance-and surrender his liberty as well.”-Mark Levin, Liberty and Tyranny It would be a wild understatement to assert that Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto is empowering, captivating, and enlightening. In his two-hundred and five [...]
