Untitled Document I’ve been known to call it like I see it. I talk way too much about my Maltese. I adore handwritten letters. I watch horror movies and listen to music that makes my grandmother proud. I fantasize about winter cottages. I hate that dream where I’m running from something and I’m in slow motion. I believe in God. I eat lots of kale. I run, spin, lift weights, and like to climb things. Oh, and I LOVE my country.

Q & A with Jedediah: Ground Zero Mosque, Captain Redistribution, and Lupica Hilarity

on August 31st, 2010

I heard you speak briefly about the Ground Zero Mosque on Hannity’s Great American Panel. What’s your full take as a New Yorker? – James; Florida I oppose the Park51 Islamic center for three main reasons: 1) The proximity of the proposed location to Ground Zero, a mere 560 feet away. Out of sensitivity to [...]

on August 17th, 2010

It’s time to announce the winners of my “Media Insanity of the Week” competition. The Leaders We Choose

on August 3rd, 2010

One of the biggest complaints Americans have about our elected officials is that they lack authenticity. The current administration’s hope and change promises and transparency talk didn’t quite hold up when the tax cheats, backroom deals, and a bundle of former Clinton appointees rolled in with the “yes we can” posse. But it’s important for [...]

Merriam-Webster defines tolerance as “sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices differing from or conflicting with one’s own.” Dictionary.com defines it as “a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one’s own.” And America’s Left defines it as compassion for those they agree with, coupled with [...]

Journolist’s Anti-Palin Crusade of 2008

on July 23rd, 2010

As The Daily Caller’s coverage of the now-defunct liberal listserv Journolist’s 2008 Obamamania campaign grew more intriguing each day this week, a slew of emails hit my inbox asking variations of this: “So, when do you think the P-bomb’s going to drop?” Of course, they were referring to the fact that there was no way [...]

Q & A with Jedediah: Palin, Racism, and the Midterm Elections

on July 16th, 2010

There’s been a lot of talk about how Palin should replace Steele as Chair of the RNC. What’s your opinion on her assuming that role now or in the future? – Andrew; New York There certainly has been a lot of talk about that. Jim Hoft at BigGovernment.com even linked over to a “Draft Sarah [...]

Obama’s Health Care Propaganda Campaign of 2010

on July 1st, 2010

You can tell a lot about an administration by looking at its agenda. You can tell more by how it tries to implement that agenda. The White House is busy working on a $125 million campaign to help garner support for Obama’s new health care law (or, in my words, to help brainwash Americans into [...]

GOP Women Pave the Way for Big 2010 and 2012 Republican Gains

on June 28th, 2010

As I exited a small café in Massachusetts on a recent weekend getaway, two women were standing outside holding signs that read Stop the anti-woman GOP women. (They were not far from another female wearing a poster that read Death penalty for Bush/Cheney, among other delightful messages of liberal tolerance. But I digress.) I casually [...]
